Disclaimer

Peptide Research Journal summarizes published research and public regulatory documents for people following the literature. Nothing on this site is medical advice, a diagnosis, a dosing guide, or an offer to sell a drug, a compounded preparation, or a research chemical.

No clinical relationship

Reading an article does not create a clinician–patient relationship, a pharmacist–patient relationship, or any duty to care for a particular person. The journal does not review personal lab results, symptoms, or prescriptions. Questions about whether a medicine is appropriate for someone belong to a licensed clinician and, where a medicine is approved, to the current label.

Categories of evidence are not interchangeable

Peptide research includes approved medicines used inside their labeled indications, investigational drugs studied in trials, and materials sold for laboratory research that are not approved medicines. Those are different legal and scientific categories. A weight-change figure from an approved-drug trial does not transfer to a research vial that was never in that trial. A receptor result in cells or animals is not a body-composition result in people. A certificate of analysis is manufacturer paperwork. It is not a clinical trial and it does not prove that a published paper used that lot.

Summaries can be incomplete

A summary selects. It can miss a secondary endpoint, a subgroup, a later correction, or a change in a label. It can also be wrong. The linked paper, registry record, or agency document is the place to check a number. If this site and that source disagree, the source wins. Approval status, compounding rules, and trial results change after an article is published. This site does not promise that a sentence remains current.

What this site does not decide

Manufacturing quality, pharmacy licensing, compounding law, insurance coverage, and the rules of a sport or an employer are outside the summaries. The journal can point at a public document that discusses one of those topics. It does not settle the question for a particular product or a particular person.

External sites

Links to PubMed, publishers, ClinicalTrials.gov, and agencies leave this journal. Those sites have their own terms. A link is not an endorsement of a journal’s business model, a publisher’s paywall, or any product mentioned in passing by a paper.

No reliance

Do not delay, start, or stop a medicine because of a sentence on this site. Do not treat a summary as instructions for reconstitution, dosing, cycling, or stacking. Those words do not belong in this journal, and their absence is intentional.
